Anyone collect old Durhams?

Durham is a new one for me.

Yes, I picked up quite a few on the second hand market.  I like their tow trucks, ford courier, and tanker trucks.  I also went a bit nuts and bought the Plymouth in all most all colors and permutations.  Most recent holy grail was the PA state police car.

I didn't make an effort to have every release but I did buy quite a few all of which are prized in my collection. I also bought several sets of tires from them. Thanks Karl for the great post.

One has to have the pace car, doesn't one? My only Durham.

I’ve collected quite a few of these over the years, mostly Toronto related themes. Yes Harv, that pace car is a must have. The historic tie in with Brooklin is important and I feel every Brooklin collection is missing an element if it does not include a few Durham, especially the early ones.

I most definitely do, although I haven't bought any in some time. The '34 LaSalle is my favorite, I have 8 of them, including the pace car version Harv shared.

Being a fan of the white metal models I like Durham Classics very much. Sadly, these models are extremely rare on my area. So I have only the 1942 Ford Coupe in my collection. I look for the 1938 Lincoln Zephyr Coupe, 1951 Ford Monarch, 1954 Ford Courier and other models. The 1954 Ford Ranch Wagon is extremely rare. Only 60 units were produced.

Hope to find more Durhams in future.
