The Brooklin 1961 Impala is one of those models that I had to have in my collection... I'd seen loads of them available, even in the short time I'd started looking back in the beginning. I came across this detailed version in late 2014 and when it arrived, I was very happy with it. Although it was in very bad shape and required extensive cleaning, even the interior was filthy.
as things often work out, I wasn't looking for this model when I happened across it on eBay a few years later. So, the 2nd one is a John Roberts enhanced and detailed model. It's an interesting color, although it doesn't seem to be a 1961 factory color, could be one from 1960, close to Suntan Copper.
In late 2023 and early 2024, I came across two others, both very much modified, but I do not know the craftsman. The 1st is a Bel Air, the 2nd a convertible. On the Bel Air, I hope to be able to remove the side windows, but I haven't tried it yet.
Thanks for looking...

Very nice Brooklin models. The extra detailing is a big improvement.

I prefer the versions with the fender skirts removed and especially like the convertible. I did a convertible with fender skirts removed in platinum silver with red interior some time ago.

Me too. All are great and I love the Suntan Copper. But the Silver/Fawn Beige coupe without the skirts, is fabulous!
My late friend Robert scraped the Brooklin for me and made it magnificent. I also have the Goldvarg convertible in green and they too put the skirts on. My favorite model of this car is the Beige Goldvarg hardtop which for some reason I missed.
John, I wish you were my neighbor, so I could borrow one of these for one of my Brooklin in Illinois photos.
