For registering this getting-older gent, their puzzle of discerning jumbled letters on a jumbled, barely contrasting background is one flaming hoop he has not been able to jump through. So I remain an outsider.
I joined Scale143 when this forum closed shop for a while. I still look in on the other group pretty often, even contribute once in a while, but their interest seems generally to tend to racing cars in various formats, many of which I just don't comprehend. However, Scale143 does have some fine photographers and some builders with fine skills. I also see a name once in a while there that is familiar from this site.
Hope we get the pictures issue solved soon. I'm rooting for John's abilities and/or connections.

@d-m-holcombe On the other hand, posting a race car or non-Brooklin car here may result in the sound of crickets as far as response goes (except for a couple of you, you know who you are). It seems each group on the internet gets a following - here Brooklin predominates, Scale143 (though the Admin is in the US) gets a lot of race cars and responses from all over the world, American Cars in 1/43 and the British 1/43 FB group seems to appeal more to diorama makers and diecast/resin collectors vs. white metal. And various splinter 1/43 groups are all over Facebook.

Have to absolutely agree ,check box with I’m not a robot would certainly be easier than the jumbled mess they put you through. I kept hitting the refresh button until I found one I could read clearly lol oh and keep in mind it’s case sensitive…..
found an extremely interesting thread on doing major surgery on a 1/43 white metal model of the Buick Y-Job by a fellow in Berlin in 2018. Very impressed with his modeling skills.
That must have been Holger Nikolai, he once customized a Minimarque 43 Duesenberg double for me with new paint job, photo-etched small parts and real glass
His website at that time was http://www.1-2-43.de
Here you can see the car together with the blue original model
