F.M. Autominis LTD Bentley R Continental, white metal, made in England.

What year would that model have been produced? I see in the Hobby db that F. M Autominis production stopped in 1984.

What year would that model have been produced? I see in the Hobby db that F. M Autominis production stopped in 1984.
This model was made prior to 1984 per what little information I could find in the net. Here is what I found, Hobby DB as you mentioned, but I could not find start year.
Under the name FM Autominis (FM – Frank Wong/Max Kernick) they made an R type Continental & Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 / Bentley S Saloon (not many of these were made). Later they produced a Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC. All in 1/43. Production stopped when Top Marques started in 1984.

If you click on Related subjects in hobbyDB if there is one, it shows you more pages. In this case, the full bio from Strutt and Wright's book (2011) shows up on Max Kernick: https://www.hobbydb.com/marketplaces/hobbydb/subjects/max-kernick-designer . The one Bentley photo was supplied by David Wright. In reading the text, you can infer that FM Autiminis was 1980 or later up to 1984, so only for a few short years...

Minichamps did a replica of a Swiss-registered R-Type Continental in ivory and Bentley dealer packaging, before releasing it in other colors. Beautiful car and model.

I have the Minichamps in black, It came in a different package than Harv's but not the regular Minichamps package... That Autominis looks a real treasure.
