New to my collection in the last week or so... This is a real beauty.
1958 Imperial Crown Convertible - GLM - LE #119 of 199 in Raven Black

GLM did a great job with that closed roof, especially the rear window. The window 'glass' is just slightly recessed as if it's sewed in from behind. And of course John's fine photography allows us to see these details.
This car was (and is) a parade when it drives down the street all alone. Dramatic! Thanks for your good pictures, too.
@d-m-holcombe This era of Imperials seems to be a popular modeling subject, just checking my shelves I find a black Ghia limousine, a four door hardtop and a two door hardtop.

The Imperials dad the best taillights from the mid '50's to the early '60's.
My personal favs are the '55 & '62.

That’s so nice! One of the reasons I’m moving from 1/64 to 1/43 is the better detail. Also because my eyes don’t have to squint so much! Lol
