Back to the Road Champs Pontiac Safari
I was never happy with the height of the roof on this otherwise nice model so I cut it off and lowered it to a proper level. See Jacques Roest's post 27729

John, you are right. I always thought the roofheight is to high;
I always keep my models original. Good, that you did dare to change it. Or did you buy a second model?

Now just glue the doors shut and fill in the space gaps. Do we really need opening stuff? Do you let your kids play with these? Well I taught mine to read instead of play with my models. Is that wrong? I didn't want them to grow up like me. Some even say I never grew up. Me and Peter Pan.

John, i wish you had posted pics of that build as it looks to me as pretty complicated. Now..lol..to my eyes..that vent window looks a bit too wide to me.

No this is the only one I have. I will hack into an inexpensive, and easily replaceable, diecast to modify or improve. Expensive Brooklins, Conquests, etc. not so much.

Another one that needs a choped top
The 1964 Ranchero from the James Bond partworks series. Haven't figured out how to do this one.
