In what is now becoming a yearly tradition, I took off the day after Thanksgiving to head up to Elkhart to the RV/MH Museum to see if I could squeeze a few more recently acquired models into the cases. This time my very patient wife Julie went along for the ride and snapped this pic of me getting ready to place the GLM Chevy Blazer Chalet.
Along with some new Greenlight Hitched Homes (1/64) and some other stuff I got on the 'bay in various scales, I was able to include the redone Brooklin Airstream and Corvair Greenbriar campers. Many thanks to John Kuvakas for these. He offered a deal I couldn't refuse so I picked them up at the Chicago show.
The Corvair is kept company by the custom Pontiac camper made by John Ellis.
It's always fun visiting the museum and reacquainting myself with the collection. Plus, I get to talk to museum guests as they try to wrap their heads around someone crazy enough to accumulate this many model campers.
I also learned that in July 2022, they'll be opening a new exhibit that features the history of mobile homes and manufactured housing. I got a sneak peek of what's planned and I can't wait to see it when it's finished!
Fantastic display Randy. It is great that you continue to add to this amazing collection. As a Canadian who has been limited in access to the USA for about two years, I hope that by next Summer I will be able to go to Elkhart and finally see the museum. Thanks for sharing, both in this post and at the museum especially.
Very, very impressive Randy!
Exceptional display. I sure wish I had cabinet lighting as good at that.

@john-quilter Believe it or not, but each case has a single diffused LED tube that we installed flush to the inside of the glass doors. I was amazed at the difference it made and how even the light is all the way to the bottom shelf.
Fantastic collection Randy!
