Ben, thanks for the photos of the work on your Corvette which do answer my questions. For some reason I thought you had somehow cut out the bonnet (hood) and were reusing it. That didn't seem possible and indeed it's not. The replacement hood is a work of art! If the model turns out as well as it looks it will, I'll be very jealous!
