Like Dinky Toys before them, Corgi Toys have been reissued over the last few years.  A coupe weeks ago, I obtained their latest reproduction - the 268 The Green Hornet's Black Beauty.  I had a Batmobile and a James Bond Aston Martin as a kid, but never this TV show tie in.  I am not sure why, maybe just because I don't remember seeing the show on TV.  It is a cool car with lots of play features:  secret bult-in missile launcher, flying radar dish, and rotating Green Hornet firing out the window!

The original show lasted only 26 episodes (1966-7), but the radio series lasted for years starting in the 1930s.  For the TV show, their "rolling arsenal", the Black Beauty, was built by Hollywood customizer Dean Jeffries, on a 1966 Imperial Crown Hardtop ( https://greenhornet.fandom.com/wiki/Black_Beauty).

My wife and I were in England last month and met a good friend there who had a review copy supplied by the Corgi Model Club (CMC).  It was his gift to me.   The three gadgets all work great - vey smooth operation.  Very impressive redesign from the original.  Looks like an exact copy except for the small "Made in China" (so no one should be fooled by it).  CMC's photos are so much better than mine, so here are 3 of theirs.  I think its great for collectors that they publish their design cells. Even the original fold-out packaging has been reproduced.  Here is mine. (hobbyDB)

I loved the tv series. The car was secured to a rotating parking spot that just rolled it from upside down right? I also had the Batmobile & DB5. It was a fun time to have these little model cars.

That looks exceptionally cool ! You certainly didn't mess around with the Green Hornet out on the road. I recall I had a 1/25 styrene plastic kit of this era Imperial.
