31 Stutz Bearcat (Matchbox)
The Bearcat name was reintroduced in 1931. The depression had not been kind to Stutz, so the name was used as a way to boost sales. The new Bearcat had the DV-32 (32 valve) eight-cylinder engine and each car came with an affidavit saying the car had been tested at 100 mph (160 km/h).

I like it, Frank. It reminded me of one of my earliest model cars, the Revell Highway Pioneers plastic kit of an early Stutz Bearcat. That would have been in the early 1950's. I looked in my shelves but it seems I don't have a more recent version. The search is now on for that old Revell kit!
Good post! David
Later: Just found it on eBay and it's now purchased. I will post the results whenever I finish building it. That's the 1915 version. Great fun!

Nice ! I have this '31 Stutz Bearcat, too, and it's a terrific model, as these pictures show.
