Unfair because my example of BRK 179 was modified by the late Wayne Moyer as a two-tone red/black model. So a lot of the enhanced details of 241X are also on my earlier model. But then the 241X has three poseable tops (top down, top up, and hardtop) and, a brilliant innovation, removable rear skirts, probably the first time this feature has appeared in 1/43. Just glad BRK didn't do the red/black combo.
Quite clever. Removable fender skirts as well. How are they attached?

The BCC '55 Plymouth is an exceptional model with multiple display options. Harv, your red & black is very cool, a great color combination. Wayne did a fabulous job.

Have the red convertible not enhanced and the new version. I wanted a John White version but never seemed to find one.
I think small magnets are used. This would be the same method used to attach landing gear on some 1/48 scale diecast airplanes I have.

I like them all, including the red-black combo. So far, I only have a 1956 in 1/32 scale, and it is a favorite.
I demonstrate the skirts here,

I have been "out of the loop" for the past few months - I am under the impression that Brooklin will be producing more of the 241X - is that true? Thanks.

@rogerkerr, that was a BCC special, and no more are planned. However, we may see a another version in different colors.

It is a sensational-looking 1/43 Plymouth and the colors certainly are eye-catchers. Really nice one !
@ed-davis Yes, small magnets, and the skirts just click in place and just as easily removed. So no more arguments from the peanut gallery on the skirt/no skirt issue with this one. As Mickey D's used to say, "Have it your way". I wonder if Karl should add this to the model features matrix.
@mg-harv Good idea - I can also write up the red - orange comparison for MAR Online, if you are OK with it. Great photos to show other folks!
@karl Sure thing. Let me know if I need to email the pics to you.
