Hi guys,

Brooklin’s 1960 Edsel Ranger convertible is a pretty nice representation but I think the blue interior was off. I redid it in buttercup yellow with black and siver interior. I also color keyed the hubcaps, enhanced the headlights, added door handles and fender ornaments and removed the huge antenna. I am featuring photos of the original version and my revised one. Thanks for looking

Nice,  What did you use for the fender ornaments?

Very impressive work Chazy! Without question, one of the best model-make-overs  I've ever seen.  This 1960 Edsel looks 1000% better! Still hard to fathom that just 76 1:1s were ever built.

Very nice conversion. What brand of paint did you use and is it an enamel or lacquer ?

@kenspear Ken, when possible, I use the oem base color or I use a paint closest to the original color Montana, or any acrylic or lacquer paint. The most import step is the clear coat top coat!

@john-quilter John, thanks to dear Amanda, I have a plethora of extra parts. The ornaments are 1955 Buick hood ornament.

Amazing work Chazy. The transition you created is outstanding. I have the Conquest version Buz did of his 1/1 and also the Brooklin you used in this change.
