A very typical fat-fender rod. Did you replicate an actual car?

@mg-harv. No. It is not replicated after an actual car but it is a typical style that I have seen numerous times done on 2 door slantback Fords from the late 30s. I haven't seen any Buicks streetrodded  this way.The "37 Buick slantback is the 1st one that I have done. I will be doing about 12 of these using late '30s Brooklin 3 and 5 window coupes. I have a 1934 Ford 5 window coupe,a 1936 Buick 3 window coupe, a 1937 Buick 5 window coupe, a 1937 Pontiac 5 window coupe, a 1937 Studebaker Dictator 3 window coupe, a 1930 Ford 5 window coupe and a 1938 Chrysler 5 window coupe so far. I am currently streetrodding a '34 Lasalle 3 window coupe. I plan to do them in metallics, candy colors and pearl. The pictures above don't do justice to the metallic pearl in the finish.I applied 3 coats of clearcoat over the pearl but the pictures don't pick it up very well.
