(A couple of years ago I posted on the old Forum 43 some pictures of my restoration of a ‘56 ‘Bird. Now that site is gone so I’m posting some new pictures)

I purchased this model on eBay for next to nothing knowing it needed a complete restoration.  A windshield post was broken, there were chips in the paint and front and rear end damage. Since I already had three ‘Birds in Fiesta Red, I chose Sunset Coral for the color.

As did I. Wonderful work and that is a great color. It's great to see it again, always a pleasure to relive anyone's collection.

Thanks for the repeat performance, David, for I needed that Kwik Weld info.  I'm getting ready to do some very similar windshield repair on a couple of BRk models, and you have given me several good ideas.  THANKS11

David, good luck with those. That stuff works very well. Would love to see some before and after pictures.
