Hard to tell the 1:1 from the 1:43

I always liked the 1958 Chevrolet. Is the 1/43 scale model made by Brooklin?

That is a beautiful automobile by Chevrolet and a fine white metal replica of it by Brooklin.

My Dad and our family had a 1:1 1958 Chevrolet and I had a 1/25 scale plastic promo model of the Chevy.

Beautiful model and comparison photos. I sold my 1/1 several years ago because I was out of space. I have the Brooklin and also the MiniMarque. The MiniMarque has the skirts and Continental kit like my 1/1.

...always loved 1958 Chevys, even 45-50 years ago when no one cared AND you could buy them for practically zero money.    Everyone wanted tri-fives!

Hard to believe but even today I consider this "ancient"  1/18 Ertl still one of the best '58 Impala models ever done.   All I did was "fix"  the whitewalls; Ertl made them too wide.

Not bad for 36 year old tooling, right?      Blue is a nice color too!  😎 😎

Ertl Impala 5
Ertl Impala 8

An excellent model and even more so when it's been redone by John Roberts.

Here are two more views showing JR’s excellent chrome detail. Color is Agean Turquoise/white.

Here's a 1:1 ("Belle") that Frank Racibozynski used to own. Complete with "necker knob" and dice valve stem caps.

Frank's 1958 Chevy driven out
Frank's 1958 Chevy necker knob
Frank's 1958 Chevy valve stem cap small

Not an Impala but a Bel Air.
