Since the merger with SMTS, is there any new models to come and what are they?
Before shutting down, they were working on a 1933 Cadillac and they published color samples of a 1954 Packard. Is there any chance these projects will come to fruition?
Both models, the Cadillac and the Caribbean are on the boards. We'll see the Caribbean first, sometime this fall, hopefully for the October show in Chicago. Brooklin released the hobbyDB Pontiac Ventura a few weeks ago. The move from the plant near Bath to Hastings took time. With a reduced staff and the prospect of incorporating the Brooklin operation into the SMTS operation in Hastings, it was a big job and took a good deal of manhours to naccomplish. Meanmwhile, production came to halt.
Current projects are the Cadillac, Caribbean, The BCC Club car ('55 Plymouth Sport coupe), Elmo's most recent offering (a Lansdowne model) and a two more models that have yet to be revealed.

Thanks for update. I was thinking of asking the same question, but Nickies beat me too it.

Thanks, all. It's good to see the future planned releases all listed out in one place...
@jkuvakas John, I want to make sure I am eligible to get the Packard and the Plymouth...what do I need to do as far as club membership, etc. to qualify? Thanks very much!

@moe-parr, the Packard is not a BCC club model. Send me an email at kuvakas@gmail.com.
For the Plymouth, all you have to do is be a member of the BCC. If you are, you can email Mo at mbrown2262@aol.com or John Scrivens at scrivejd@btinternet.com. If you're not a member of the BCC, either of those men can help you get signed up.

I'm the odd man out but I am looking for an expansion of the Promod white metal kits series some of which are based on Brooklin and Landsdowne castings I understand. Would love to see one of the MG Y saloon and Austin A105 which I would use for special projects. Some older American car Brooklins could also provide interesting projects. I've never been a just buy and display collector.

@jkuvakas Do you have any details yet on the Chicago show in October? Date? Event schedule?
The date is Oct 15. We're working on a Wayne Moyer-related event in Dayton on the 13th or 14th. If that works out for the 13th, we'll have an activity in Chicago on the 14th. We hope to have some details finalized within the next two weeks.

Thanks for the look at that 1/43 Pontiac, John ! Brooklin has done a superb job on this beauty and I just saw a real 1:1 edition at the local Route 66 car show today. HobbydB is doing a great job at their site and also commissioning these fantastic replicas, too.

I too have been wondering about the status of Brooklin. Thanks, John, for your My Take. It’s good news that Brooklin is still planning for future releases.’

@jkuvakas Sadly, or a wealth of choices, that's the same weekend as the Chattanooga Motor Car festival. I'll be staying closer to home.
We'll miss you, Harv!
