Brooklin debate interesting

I am certain that Brooklin sales will be affected by the list price doubling in the last two years. In the UK the latest models cost more than the standard UK weekly pension payment and UK wages have moved up by only a couple of percent over the same period. Some limited edition very high detail European resin ranges are now little more expensive than Brooklin. Model Collecting may be compulsive but it is also luxury not an essential and if collectors budgets are limited fewer of these more expensive models will be sold.
As far as box is concerned I note that I have several Chinese resin models in packaging which is close to the same level of detail where the models and boxes together cost me little more than the price quoted for the Brooklin box.
