Thanks, John. I just had a little fun with a pink Dodge in Keko's post and then here comes Brooklin in a topper! Makes me wish I still had that pink dinner jacket I wore when I was a high school student a few years ago. Thanks for the memories! David H
Dodge offered a pink shade on this car in 1955 called Heather Rose. I sure hope Brooklin used this particular shade on the pink series car they have coming soon, combined with white, instead of a generic shade of pink. I don't really understand why this concept was ever initiated; I don't get the urge to collect models painted pink, unless they are actual factory shades used back in the day.
@jack-dodds Actually Dodge did have a pink in their color choices in 1955-56 as the Dodge La Femme was done in pink and white just for the ladies. Here's my interpretation. And yes it did come with an umbrella, gloves and a purse for the lady.

Thanks, John. Nice to see what Brooklin is up to. I do miss Martin's irreverent captions but I guess that is a small penalty to pay for Brooklin perpetuating its white metal excellence under a larger banner.
@jkuvakas JK, if there is such a personality type as an optical sadist...you are that person! Quick...pass me the Clear Eyes!

But my lovely nana would advise me 'if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything'
@ben-lampson, let us all take a moment in silence...

While we are on the topic of pink on mid-50s Dodges; has anyone heard an update on when Greg Gunn's beautiful tri-color '56 Dodge wagon will be available? It will be a stunner.
