The next model featured in my Brooklin in Illinois series is the 1933 Stutz DV-32 Weyman Super Bearcat Roadster in maroon (BRK200). The background shows a restored, vintage Sunoco gas station in Poplar Grove, Illinois. This is at the airport with the "Wings & Wheels Museum" shown in the previous Brooklin in Illinois post.

Loving the cash register picture Ed, exterior building with car too. Might the station have been located on Route 66? We've yet to make Chicago in our '35 Chevy - someday?

Poplar Grove is located in northern Illinois near the Illinois and Wisconsin border. The town is not near Route 66. I do not know if this is the original location of the gas station.
