Having ordered a 30th Anniversary Morris Minor several months ago I was becoming concerned that it has not arrived yet. I emailed Simon at Brooklin to inquire about the car. He replied quickly to reassure me that they are on the way soon. They are waiting for the delivery of the tires which are the only parts not fabricated at the factory but come from a supplier.  They are expected to arrive soon and the cars will be shipped.

It looks great, so the wait will be worth it ! That lilac color is attractive and will certainly highlight the car whether in a display or for photographs.

I saw a Minor convertible being driven just yesterday. Dull blue color with a red top - very striking.

Harv,  It wasn't mine, I'm 2800 miles away but I was using my Morris convertible yesterday, owned for 64 years.

@john-quilter Love your car John. I have loved the Morris Minor ever since I first saw one in the fifties.

@bob-jackman I've liked it since getting the Matchbox version as a child.

Is it just a repaint from the original one? My library doesn't anymore have books about the Minor but I had several over the years.

Interestingly, there is a shop restoring Minors about 20 miles away in Port Townsend WA. They have an impressive parts inventory and fully restored cars for sale.

@nickies

Darren says:  'The body is mainly the same but trim detail is different. So, yes, it’s quite different.'  The windscreen, steering wheel were mentioned also...
