Randy; were these three all special factory orders for these entertainers? Were only three of these wagons built?
Nice special order Cadillacs that look great and will certainly cause discussion from those viewing your collection !
@jack-dodds I would also like to know if these three were the only ones made. I find no mention of a station wagon in the Standard Catalog of American cars.
It seems like Matrix has been teasing this car for years...
I understand two 1972 wagons were built by American Sunroof Corporation (ASC). One for Dean Martin (the green top) and one for Elvis (brown top).
ASC used the roof and tailgate from a 1970 Buick Estate Wagon.
So the blue one is just a variation, while the other two are historically correct. Now, to track down the correct license plates for those two models.
The Elvis car looks pretty tame for him.
@lloyd-mecca I seem to recall that John Wayne had one too, or maybe he bought Elvis's.. ???
@jack-dodds Yeah, I got my wires crossed.... (I just Googled ) John Wayne had a few Pontiac wagons specially outfitted to his liking; one was even done by George Barris.... "Pilgrim!"

JW was known to be partial to Pontiacs. I recall some (all?) were high headroom.
@chris That's right Cochise, Wayne liked the Pontiacs 'cause they reminded him of all the Indians he had gunned down in his movies.
It would be cool to have a version with the sunroof open. Could double as a secret service follow-up car.
