Here is a set of photos for the Brooklin V16 Cadillac engine. It is an impressive model with lots of detail.

Thanks, Ed! Fantastic photos - I think you covered everyone and everything! See you at the next one! Did you find any nice cars to buy?
Of course. I brought one model to the show as a "trade in" with Buz and came home with three. See below pictures.
First, with my trade in I acquired from Buz a WMCE 1957 Pontiac convertible.
Second, I purchased an Elegance 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville hardtop from Greg Gunn.
Third, I was given one of the Stamp 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special prototype models.
I have a question about the Elegance Cadillac, which maybe you or someone else can answer. The base plate has the year 1985 stamped in it. The body casting seems very good with nice details, but I am not sure of its material. Its weight is too low for white metal, which means resin or diecast. My assumption is resin, but I do not know if resin was used back then. If resin was used, I am pleasantly surprised it lasted this long, 37 years. Does anyone know the material?

@ed-davis I heard he (Claude Thibivilliers) used resin for a lot of his Cadillac's...
Ed - could Tom and I use your Brooklin photos for the BCC and potentially Brooklin facebook pages, as well as send to GLM? We can give you photo credit.

Looks good. I have seen photos of a 2-door hardtop, but I did not know they made a top-up convertible. Thanks.

European resin 1/43s go back to at least the mid-1970s. Brands from back then include MRE, MRF, Ma Collection, Rampini, and Ugo Fadini's wonderful land speed cars.
