I have been searching for one of these for quite some time. I am not sure when it came out, but I missed it when it did. I've seen very few of them and lost out on a couple when I tried to buy in the last few years.

I finally came across one at a great price, purchase made and it's a part of my collection.

1966 Duesenberg Model D Concept Car - Matrix Models/LE 1 of 408

The original car's concept was conceived by Fred "Fritz" Duesenberg in the early 60s. The car was designed by Virgil Exner and the body was built by Ghia of Italy. Only 1 was built despite a strong start and quite a few orders. In the end, the financial backing fell through, and the reintroduction of the Duesenberg ended.

this is a beautiful model, what intrigues me are the windows seem to be able to be raised and lowered, or am I imagining it lol.

I could have sworn I built a Renwal version of this when I was a kid, but the Duesenberg shown here is different.

renwal 570
