When the Ciroen DS-19 was introduced in 1955 replacing their Traction Avant, it was wildly popular for both its space age looks and innovative design. A wheel-less body was made for show displays and was first shown as a spaceship sculpture in 1963:

For the car's 40th anniversary, to showcase its air bag suspension and unique ride characteristics, that same body was buoyed by 4 balloons and placed in an outdoor pond in front of an exposition. This Vitesse model commemorates that event in 1995.
