One of the drawbacks of the old CC models was the use of superglue for assembly. Many times headlights were fogged or, in the case of the Sun Valley, roof fogging.

I just checked my CC models and fortunately none of them have this problem. I have two Sun Valleys, three 53 Fords, three 56 DeSotos and two Packards. I've seen what super glue does to window glazing.

@fred-eliseeff   I am curious - how did Fernando and you learn all this history?  Do you know someone from the factory, or is it well known in the Argentina collectors' society?  I have not seen this published in English at all before!

@karl It wasn't easy to learn it. Fernando has contacts with former employer who told about the last days of Buby. And, of course, we have been asking other collectots and examing old magazines. Collector's Classics models aren't widespread in Argentina because their purpose was export. But there is one of the most comprehensivd collections in Museo Bubyvan in Rosario. Here are 43 models.

Step by step we could reconstruct these events. By the way, several years ago Don Haroldo wad still alive!

This will be excellent reading and a comprehensive history of the company. Your research and work has certainly resulted in this series documenting their models.
