Please excuse the absence of mirrors and hood emblem.

I don't attach them when I purchase models.

I am amazed at the speedometer detail.

I bought this one from Buz just hours after I saw one sell on ebay for $700, and it was his last one.

Have it, love it but not $700 worth.

I also have one of these, and it is very nice.  After reading your comments, I checked out the speedometer with a magnifying glass to see the detail.  I find it hard to believe someone paid $700 for one of these.  I bought mine from Buz in 2016 or 2017.

@bob-jackman

Bob, after watching it sell for $700, I checked route 66 and low and behold, Buz had one listed on his site.

It makes you wonder why somebody would pay that much on ebay for a model that the model supplier has for less than a third of that price.

For comparison, the Goldvarg '56 Montclair. It was a tough decision, but I let my red/white Conquest go after getting the bumblebee version.

I really like the style of the '56 Mercury. The Conquest model is very nice, I haven't found a convertible version of it yet (that I can afford) I do have a hardtop I got from Buz.

the Goldvarg convertible is nice too. I have the same one as Harv-love the colors.
