Just received this beauty this morning. Sahara Tan and Dusty Orange and wire wheels which I think is a stunning combination for a convertible. I understand someone said that Buz only ten convertibles and this one is the only one with wire wheels. Here is also the '58 De Soto in two tone green. Love them both!
Beautiful. I have the hardtop coming in the Sahara Tan. Nice pictures Curtis.
The convertible looks fantastic. My hardtop in those colors and wire wheels just arrived. I have and love that '58 in green too, but I am very partial to any DeSoto from the mid-to late 50s.

I received my 1957 De Soto convertible this afternoon. I also have the green 1958 convertible and they look great together. I am the one who said only 10 convertibles. Thanks for pictures.

I believe that the 1957 Desoto is part of the WMCE series rather than based on a Conquest Model.

Bob; This color combo should really pop on the HT. Something a bit different; I love it.

I want one but would clip off the extended rear antenna.
It looks too much, IMO, like the bumper cars at fairs.

They come un-attached, so all you would have to do is not attach them.
If you want one, I would call Buz asap....he just informed me that the remaining hardtops are selling fast.
The verts are sold out.
Just a FYI. In addition to the 10 convertibles, Buz told me he made a total of 30 hardtops. I usually ask Buz about quantities made for each release.

Are you sure he wasn't adding the convertibles in with that total of 30?
He usually does a strict number of 10 per color, variation or type.
That is what he told me. Sometimes pre-order requests may affect quantities produced, although for the 1957 DeSoto I believe only the tan and orange hardtop was shown. Anyway you look at this, quantities are very limited. I have learned to make purchase decisions for new releases very quickly. As you say, exclusivity.
