That is what he told me. Sometimes pre-order requests may affect quantities produced, although for the 1957 DeSoto  I believe only the tan and orange hardtop was shown. Anyway you look at this, quantities are very limited. I have learned to make purchase decisions for new releases very quickly. As you say, exclusivity.

Yes! exclusivity!

Now I am curious about the total numbers, so I'll shoot Buz an email and ask him.

He mentioned these to me last year, but I didn't pre-order one, but I did get the red and charcoal hardtop.....beautiful model.

Buz also sent me all 3 variation colors to the 1950 Buick sedanette.

Pics coming in the next day or 2.

Ok. Let us know the quantities. It would also be interesting how many are left.

I have my H/T on order and it is a beauty. I was considering this model as a candidate for the NABCC 2023 Club Car (see photo), but Buz beat me to it, I am also a fan of the extended antennas. This model is stunning.

Nice job, Buz, with the convertibles and the H/T.

I just sent out an email to Buz and asked him the total numbers produced and how many are left.

I will come back here and post when he gets back to me.

Directly from Buz concerning the numbers produced and what he has left for the WMCE 1957 De Soto Fireflites, and I quote

'We had the factory build 20 Sahara Tan/Dusty Orange hardtops (1/2 of them with wire wheels), 10 Sahara Tan/Dusty Orange open convertibles, and 10 Fiesta Red/Charcoal Grey Hardtops all with wire wheels.

We have 1 Tan HT and 4 Red HT left.'

and I think one of us said they received the only convertible with wire wheels.

Thanks for the numbers.  I do not remember any other model from Buz selling this fast.

I do not think Buz reads this.
