The Jaguar Mark X , later renamed the Jaguar 420G, is a large, luxury saloon car manufactured by British automaker Jaguar Cars between 1961 to 1970. It succeeded the Mark IX as the top of its range, but radically broke with both its predecessor's styling and technology.
The Jaguar Mark X, was issued by Corgi Toys as No.238; was released in September 1962.
Here are some from my Jaguar collection starting with my favourite green example..
Other colours! I have a red one also but stored. There may be other colour variations.
thanks David, the Mark 10 (X) sold well here in Australia and wow was it a presence on our roads! Reminded me to post these for you. This magnificent XJ8 in our local supermarket carpark a couple of weeks ago. Lucky I'd been inside and bought what I'd needed otherwise if I'd seen it first I would have been so distracted, God only knows what I would have come out with!
...wow David, an opening trunk - with luggage? NICE! 😎 😎
A terrific vintage Corgi, David - many thanks for sharing! With all of the advancements with models, I still have a very big soft spot for the '56-'70 Corgi Models.
