Well, I've been busy the last couple weeks rediscovering the classic beauty of white metal models. It's hard to believe that these are ten to twenty years old. The many chromed pieces and exceptional paint jobs make these instant standouts in my collection:

MM 1935 Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster Supercharged

IMG 9662

MC 1947 Ford Sportsman

IMG 9661

MC 1947 Ford Woody Wagon (looks black but it's deep maroon)

IMG 9656

MC 1950 Ford Woody Station Wagon

IMG 9660

MM 1922 Duesenberg Model A

IMG 9658

MM 1929/31 Cord L29 Cabriolet

IMG 9659

MC 1948 Chrysler Town & Country

IMG 9664

MM 1932 Packard

IMG 9663

MC 1950 Pontiac

IMG 9666

MC 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe

IMG 9667

MC 1949 Packard

IMG 9665

MM 1929 Duesenberg Model J

IMG 9668

Well, that's all for now...

What a wonderful selection, Randy. I love white metal models when done well, as all these are.

Very nice set of model cars. Are they models you acquired a long time ago or recent purchases?

The Auburn is not a 1935 but a 1932 Speedster. I was not aware anybody did one in metal neither in resin.

Wow Randy you brought out the "A TEAM". I have all but the 47 and 50 Ford woody wagons and the 50 Pontiac coupe. I have the Pontiac convertible in blue top down and in red top up. Thanks for the great post.

@ed-davis These were all acquisitions over the last couple of weeks, most from an auction.

@bob-jackman I'm just now starting to approach the "Bob Jackman" level of quality models in my collection. The '47 is a real standout. I have no idea how they fitted the real wood veneers on this one.

Excellent group.  I especially like the 49 Packard cv.
