Back around 2003-04 Danbury Mint did a series of 10 Minichamps Ford products in a 100 year commemorative series.  1964 Mustang convt #1,  1956 Continental #2, 1941 Lincoln #3, 1949 Ford convertible #4,  1958 Edsel wagon #5,  1928 Model A #6,   Model T  #7   1955 Thunderbird #9,  1940 Ford woody #10.   What was #8?  I can not seem to find it in my inventory.

John, You are missing the 1950 Mercury in your list. Additions that were added were the Mercury Marauder and  the GT

Thanks, Christopher.  The mystery is solved, sort of.  The Mercury Marauder was likely #8 which i have in red with a black trunk but was obtained separately.  I passed on the 1950 pickup as I already had one.

@john-quilter Well.... now I'M confused:  🙄 🙄

I was wrong. There's clearly MORE than 12 models in the set - at least 13.     The 1969 Mercury Marauder shares the same packaging, etc...  but doesn't have that flat black trunk.   So, we know there were at least two versions issued.  One was part of that "100 years set,"  and the other wasn't - I guess.  🙄 🙄

Wasn't there a set issued for the European market ? My brother got one when we were at the Ford 100 celebration in Dearborn. I regret not getting a set but I wasn't really into 1/43rd at the time. I did get the 1/18 Speedster though.

I don't know Steve, maybe....  ??    That 1/18 Speedster is a very nice model except for those crazy spoked wheels; a few years ago, I fixed that!  😉

@100ford2003  HobbyDB says there were sets issued for US, Europe, Australia.  "For example, USA had 2 sets of six plus the FORD GT (13 cars)."

I have the one with the black trunk and it appears I got this one a few years after the 100 year series was obtained as individual models over different dates,  so it was likely not part of the series. Never did get the 1950 Ford pickup (already had one from another maker) or the GT40.  Adding these two to the series I have, would bring the total to 12 including the Marauder.
