.... Just to follow on the Stutz Monte Carlo post below, I have always been impressed by the design of the hood ornaments adorning these magnificent cars of the 1930's.
During the mid 80's Franklin Mint came with a Series about full scale hood ornaments of the most prestigious Motorcars from Europe an America. At some time, I had all of them in gold plated trim. I sold the complete set to one collector before moving to WA for retirement.
I bought back a few over the years ......Packard, Pierce-Arrow, Cadillac and also this Stutz.......

I remember these from the FM Richard. At the time these came out I was so busy spending money on the car models, I passed on the hood ornaments. Thanks for the reminder.
