I received this today from an eBay vendor in Japan. To my delight - white walls! Nice model. Looks right, sits right. I'm glad to have it.

That's strange. I've had a black 1974 Monte Carlo at least a year, and it has black tires. Whitewalls are so much more appropriate for this car. I may need to order a newer one.

I agree on the w/w tires issue !
They definitely need to be on that Monte Carlo.

There may be some differences with the DeAgostini range made for the Japanese market vs. US/Europe.

The entire enclosed brochure and most of the outer packaging was in Japanese.
