Dick Browne's collection

Gary Hunt here. I have the honor of selling Dick's collection. The response so far has been very good! I have been including a small memento of Dick for buyers who I know were his friends. If you buy a model and want one just include a message when you pay and while supplies last, I will include one. Also where possible I am putting "DB" in the auction title of models from Dick's Collection

Gary I think you bring a great honor to Dick Browne. At first I kind of thought it was all so fast, probably because I failed to stay in touch with Dick as much as I should have. But when I recall the fact that he was so quick to help and make split decisions, sure this is fitting. I know the many who met Dick knew a very dedicated man to our hobby and we may all want a simple memento of his honorable walk on earth with us. He is missed.

Gary...I think i speak for most, if not everyone here, by saying we thank you for a job that would be difficult for anyone of us. I bought a DB model from your eBay store, and your graciousness was truly evident in our transaction. You waived my shipping fee, and sent a little something extra with the model.
It certainly won't be the last model I purchase from you, and I have saved your store to my eBay favorites.
Please send Dicks wife my best, and thank you again.

Thank you, Gary.

Enclosed with my most recent purchase from Gary of one of Dick's Brooklin models was this little extra, a memento of Mr. Browne that I will treasure: an expired, laminated CTCS membership card, #794, from the year 2000, in the name of Richard J. Browne.

Like a true collector, Dick saved EVERYTHING!

Gary - thanks for your note. I bought the 1950 Packard from you and am super pleased with the car and your excellent service.

Gary, Thank-you very much for your considerations and kindness.

I have purchased eight of Mr. Browne's models and each one has arrived in the best way possible.
While I've never met Dick, I know his dedication to Brooklin Models and Forum 1:43 was inspiring.
I will proudly display these models and each one will remind of his friendship and dedication to our hobby.

As with everybody else.....I thank you. Not knowing how many cars were in Dick's collection, it has to be a great undertaking on your part. Believe me when I say it is much appreciated, especially by the members of Forum 43 and those that had the privilege of meeting Dick in person. Number two is on the way to me now and I'm looking forward to many more.

I recently bought something from Gary that was NOT in Dick's collection.

A Vitesse Alfa Romeo spider in white. Just like a car my daughter and I drove in the Rally for the Lane last year. Will be a Christmas gift to her this year.

Hi Gary. This is such a wonderful idea. Any way those of us already purchased can get one?

I bought the two 30s Buicks a couple weeks back and would love to display said momento with the two cars in a place of honor in my office.

I've. Been going through his train offerings as well.

I know I'll find that one item I absolutely must have. I don't know what it is, but -'ll know it when I see it and I know I'll see it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Such a great eBay store.
