The first of Ford's L-series trucks was introduced in 1970 (L for Louisville, where they were built). By 1978, Ford introduced the CLT-9000 COE, with a similar hexagonal grille style to the L-series. The cab had a high roof and seating position, offering great visibility, and earning the nickname "the two-story Ford". Model for Altaya by PCT with a plastic trailer, in the livery of Goodyear Racing Tires. A must-have for race car dioramas of the late 1970s-1980s period.
