Also known as the Town and Country Saloon, the real car appeared shortly after the end of WW2 hostilities and continued the "razor edge" styling that was popular before the war. About 4000 cars were made before production ended in 1949. The original Dinky, numbered 40B, appeared in 1948, was renumbered in 1954, and withdrawn in 1959. The Brits call this color "fawn" but to me it's just tan. Other colors included two shades of blue, gray, and black, the latter quite uncommon.
Or perhaps a very, very pale Volvo-ian yellow. Nice shape rendering for a "just" a toy company. Here's one auctioned on Bonhams on Apr 21, 2008:

I had one of those. Wish I still had it! Price had gone up from $.75 to $.85. That was a whole week’s allowance!

Very nice Harv. I have this one in blue. One of my favourite early Triumph models. Thanks for the post.
And if someone is really into razor edged Triumphs here are three, the Dinky in gray, the Lansdowne in maroon and a Mikansue Mayflower.

Dinky did some fun color combinations back then - fawn with green hubs! 😑
@john-quilter Except for the wheels, John, my Triumph Mayflower looks a lot like yours. It has quite a bit of information on the base, but I really don't remember much about this one.

Thanks, Karl. I think you're right. Mine seems to be by Illustra.
