Riley production resumed in autumn of 1945 with the RMA Saloon. Dinky produced theirs as No. 40A in 1947, renumbered in 1954, and withdrawn in 1960. The last versions had treaded tires. The alternate color was typically cream, also with green wheels. I acquired this one while still a teenager from a hardware store in Mobile, AL.
You kept this one for a long time in beautiful condition Harv. Thanks for continuing to share your vast collection of mint boxed Dinky Toys. It is a joy to behold and I look forward to your posts.
Somewhere I have this one packed away. A nice little car.

@david-green Thanks David - I have a lot more to go! Too bad many are not very close to 1/43.

What David said goes for me too. Thanks!
