Just received, an older Minichamps (2005 maybe?) replica of the Gunnar Racing 911 GT3-RS from the 2004 Porsche 250 race at Birmingham's Barber Motorsports Park. This was the 11th round of the 2004 Grand-Am Road Racing Championship, with the Jeanette-Franchitti car placing 13th overall and 4th in the GT class. A friend of mine brought me a hat back from that race. Why would Minichamps make an obscure also-ran from a less well-known race (besides the for the popular Brumos decoration)? Check the sponsor name on the outer sides of the rear wing.
