I love those old Dinkys - so evocative of '50s France.  Of course they made them up to 1990!

Saw one in a parking lot in Indy a few years ago - very weird to find one here but it's such a cute car...

@karl And I got to drive a bare 2CV chassis in the parking lot of the Lane Museum!

🙂  The Lane requires you to wear a beret if you drive the 'fully loaded' one (with a body, that is)!

In our group this year there were 5 or 6 folks who were to drive the M-B sedan. They all showed up in hippie-era dress - tie-dye, peace signs, etc.  But the Benz was out of commission so they got the Tatra 613.

@mg-harv Yep, the Benz blew a head gasket on the rally the week before!  ☹️

If you can take it, here's one more!

These Heller kits, light plastic from France (I think), are fun and relatively inexpensive.  As over the last couple of years I have shifted my 1/43 emphasis from buying the finished models to assembling from kits, I have also shifted my emphasis from mainstream American, 1950's and older, to a true variety of makes.  It's a different kind of fun, as long as I don't overrun my meager talents.  Just for the fun of it, here's a quick shot of my window sill: (Click on it for enlargement.)

Enjoy!

Very cool car and great models. I am ashamed to say that I don't one Citroen in my 1/43 collection-I will need to rectify that soon.
