Vitesse made a model of this Mini as it appeared at the Montreal Expo in 1967.

Thanks Harv. I think that I sat in that one when I visited Expo 67 in Montreal. It was a fantastic Expo with all sorts of hope for the future. I spent three days there.

The Expo site on Ile Notre-Dame is where the Canadian Grand Prix is held now.

Lots of interesting cars on display. Here are the Alfa Romeo Montreal Concept that was finally sold to the public with a few changes in 1974, and the George Barris ESSO 67-X Centennial car which was a modified Toronado.

The Barris Toronado lives in Victoria, British Columbia.  I used to live beside the current owner's daughter.  Owner is Trevor Weflen.

Whatever happened to Worlds Fairs? Nearby Knoxville is celebrating 40 years since its Worlds Fair and the Sunsphere is still a landmark.
