This was a real surprise for me at Countryside, part of the 3 for $25 deal I mentioned a few days ago. Several of you know about the GT350 and GT350H fastbacks by Kyosho, but I was completely unaware that they made this convertible. And it was a real car too - four were made in 1966 in Ivy Green, Red, Sapphire Blue, and Springtime Yellow. The green one is the only one that still has its original engine and was auctioned by Mecum in 2020. The red one was a prototype and here is how it looks today:
Kyosho did a great job on this one - nice wheels, stripes, etc.

What a beautiful and unusual model...great find! I never knew about these Mustangs being built.
