The colors of this one are, to say the least, memorable! But they are reasonably authentic, as the 1:1 pics show, though I think the seats should be tan color.. I could not find which museum or collection has the real one.

The Astura was a long-running Lancia brand, going through four series from 1931 to 1947. A '36 cabriolet, previously owned by Eric Clapton, won Best of Show at Pebble Beach in 2016. The larger limousine and touring cars were used by kings, heads of state, and military commanders. I have one other, a resin model by Minichamps, of a 1936 Astura Type 233C, also a Pinin Farina design whose 1:1 counterpart appeared at Pebble in 2012. You can see how the design became more sleek between 1934 (2nd series) and 1936 (third series).

Great Lancias!  The yellow roadster looks very American while 2 or 3 years later, the Astura is looking more French, n'est-ce pas? 😯
