Lancia's Flavia coupe was designed by Pininfarina and dates from 1962, the same as Mercury No. 32. The metallic dark gray was an unusual choice for a toymaker almost 60 years ago, but I think it looks great. Like the Maserati I posted yesterday, the Lancia came with a little plastic bag of goodies, in this case a roof rack and four skis (beating Corgi's winter Olymics Citroen ID19 with this feature by two years).
Lancia put Pininfarina to work again the next year, creating the Flaminia 3C 2.8 coupe just in time for the Turin Auto Show, but it remained a one-off. Matrix did a nice replica in resin in 2015. You can see some similar lines with Mercury's Flavia.
