Harv; What did you think of this Volvo after driving it? I have always liked the look of it but have never driven one.
P1800 is a lovely car and model. Here are my P1800. The beige one is by Neo and it's an early Jensen manufactured version. The others are by Minichamps, the S and ES.

I don't have a coupe model, but I do have the RobEddie 11 P1800ES and love it! Always wanted to have it detailed by a pro, but never did. Years ago I had a neighbor who owned a 1:1 P1800ES and I went to talk to him about it while he was washing it. When he was through, he invited me to take it for a test drive (with him, of course) and I jumped at it. I loved the car, and always wished I could find one I could afford. Great car, and a great model from Brooklin. His car was that cool orange color, with saddle tan interior. Gorgeous!
A friend has a 1967 P1800 which drove 200 miles when he relocated. Most of the miles were interstate. I was quite impressed with the handling and performance and in overdrive the car was quiet and fuel efficient.
@frank A former co-worker had a P1800 and I once dropped by his house to offer meager aid while he put an engine back in. When he retired, I located a Robeddie model and mounted it on a plinth as a gift.
@mg-harv I had a Coast Guard boot camp buddy (1977) that kept his wagon version of this Volvo at my folks house. Sadly, heard a few years later it had burnt. Always liked this style.
