There have been several posts about Collectors Classics models in the last few weeks, so I made new pics of the five I have. Generally 22,000 of each casting were made (or planned to be made) of which anywhere from 3000 to 5000 were Indy 500 pace cars (where appropriate). This range was begun in 1987 by Harold “Buby” Mahler, with assembly on a piecework basis and signed on the baseplate sticker by women named, Rosa, Flavia, etc.
