Do you guys leave your NEO cars in their display cases? If so, you should back the screws out a bit so the springs under the car lift it off the base. If the tires stay in contact with the plastic base they will melt together due to chemical reactions. I take mine out of the cases and display them in a wall case.

I agree, Douglas. I also place little blocks of wood under the heavier models, and

I try to rotate them a little to have some tire movement. But I have still had some tires stick to the case's shelves. So far, no real damage. Sometimes we forget just how heavy white metal models are.

Yup - plus Automodellos and Ilario/Chromes. Anything with spring-loaded screws.

Great display! Did you have this wall rack custom-built?

Not necessarily, they have a different chemical structure. I have used these cases for years and have no problems.

Doug, I used to buy my cases from Giovani but they sold out to Carney Plastics a few years ago. carneyplastics.com 1 800 372 6688 . Like you I have never had a problem with tires sticking to the acrylic cases.
