Does any have contacts at GLM? They show an early 60s Cadillac at the Spielwarenmesse show. It's just one early prototype picture, but it appears to have the sides and roofline of a 1962, but a front end of a 1960, which was very different.
Many Cadillac lovers have been hoping for a subject from this period, but unless those at GLM will change this, they we will be disappointed, and few will buy it.
Maybe someone can point this out to GLM before they finalize the shape.
This is what I have...
I think it is just a general email but, worth a try...

Could it be a '59 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham?
Saint Clair Shores, Michigan
That's exactly what it is. Here's the pic from the Nuremberg show

Hi guys, you're all wrong, GLM's good. Here's why with a better pic.
The scale model that was presented at the last Nuremberg show is a Cadillac Eldorado Brougham 1960. Its design language, mainly with the lower side lines, prefigures what to come for Cadillac in 1961 and 1962. The roof line on the model is ok, the frond end-bumper-headlights as well. The problem comes from the picture behind the model. It shows a Cadillac Eldorado Brougham 1959, which is a bit different. So, for now, as far as I can see, there is nothing wrong with the GLM model except its associated picture on the stand...

Here is the Brougham from 1959. See the sides panels. Front headlights and bumper + rear fins and rear bumpers are different as well.

Jean-Philippe, good information. To a Cadillac fan, how welcome is this model?
Were their others you would rather see or is this an unexpected or welcome addition? I am curious.
I am still waiting for a good 1958. Very happy about some of the recent 1957 models but still would welcome some good '58's not to mention 1963 and 1964.
Hi Randall. I welcome it with excitement and great expectations.
I am very very happy to discover this upcoming Brougham from GLM. I admit that I even like it a bit better than the 1959 version...This is a niche model from Cadillac ( and Pininfarina of course ) but not too odd to be ignored. These so rare cars were the top of the top of luxury and technology at the time so I am delighted GLM's working on this topic.
Apart of the '55, '56 predecessor concepts, Cadillac has produced those Eldorado Broughams for 4 years only as you know and frankly we don't have a lot of flawless replicas around nowadays. Brooklin's are good but a bit old now.
The very latest 1957 NEO's a disaster ( in my opinion and expectations of course ) and I don't know when we'll see the "far better" Kess versions...
Still, I couldn't agree more with you regarding the early sixties. We miss a coverage of years 1960-1965. Every year is gorgeous to me. I dream about a coupe DeVille 62, an Eldorado 64...well...all of them ! 😉
But, here is a 1958 Eldorado Biarritz Convertible to come that might please you. Looks very promising and will challenge the old JPS-Record's versions.

And since GLM is also doing a 1958 Cadillac Limousine Serie 75 in 1/18th, I guess we'll see it made in our favorite scale later as well !
VERY welcome! The '59 and '60 Brougham(s) are very elegant. Seen in 1/1, they have a real presence.
Glad to see it is welcome. GLM should do a very nice '58. we can hope for more '61-68 Cadillacs
