Does anyone know of a source for the oval shaped tape used by model diecast model makers to tape the top of the display case to the base of same? OK, maybe I am a little (lot) anal retentive but when I get my models I take the top of the case off to inspect and admire it. In the end, the tape holding the case together gets buggered up. Just wondering if there is a source for such a thing.
I've tried to find sourcing for these clear adhesive tabs on the web......
and have miserably failed. Any suppliers or products out there?
Just found some on Amazon - search for "clear wafer seals" Here is a link.....

I bought these - they are NON-perforated. Not oval but the size is about right and since they are Avery they should be of decent quality. I guess I never searched for the right thing before - they were out there all along.
Mark, sounds good. When you get them, could you give us an update?
Tell us how they work in terms of the size, stickiness factor, clarity, etc.
Will do. I just hope they are sticky enough to hold well.
