John's been busy again, this time with a departure from his usual. All john had to work with was the body for this Chrysler Valiant Station Wagon. Other parts were sourced from other models; bumpers, grille, lights from a die cast model, interior tub and base plate from a Brooklin Rambler. John admits its not exactly accurate but he has created a totally acceptable model of the Valiant for his collection. A challenging project to use John's words, but his next task will be more challenging; reviving a body only of the equivalent saloon (ooops! sorry, sedan). A more than valiant attempt one might say.
Oh no! Not ANOTHER one of these? LOL!
WOW! Absolutely incredible - fantastic work; sure to be a center of conversation. Thanks for the report and pics!
Another fine example of John's amazing talent!
Beautifully and professionally done. John is extremely talented.
Back some 21 years ago when Trax was selling nice accurate and reasonably priced diecast 1960-61 Valiant sedans I got a few and did some conversions, a two door sedan, hardtop, and wagon. And a badge engineered 1962 Dodge Lancer sedan. Sorry, no photo of that one but here are the Valiants.

That is a spectacular model and those are beautiful pics.
Outstanding work - "valiant" even. One of the few cars on earth, IMO, that looks best as a wagon. Two door hardtops are cool.... but not in this case. Station wagons, such as this, steal the show. What a terrific & hip looking model! 😎 😎 😎
I'm beginning to think if your name is John, you must have a natural talent for building model cars.
