Thanks for posting this oldie, Galen55.  It's one of my all time favorites.   Here's a similar one that I attempted to repaint once upon a time and another original.

and here's another early ERTL 1/43, the 1912 Buick.   Mine was a Winn Dixie Christmas special, Winn Dixie being a now defunct grocery store chain.

I wish there were more of these really old American cars produced in 1:43 scale.  Thanks for reminding me of the Ertl products.

David,  Do have a look at the Esval 1911 Mercer Raceabout and the 1920 Pierce Arrow limousine in two colors.  But I'll admit,  the field isn't great for pre 1930 cars.

@john-quilter  Thanks for the suggestion, John.   I have that fine Pierce Arrow, and also I have a similar Mercer.  What I really want is a 1:43 scale Oldsmobile with the curved dash!

@d-m-holcombe  Checked my Oldsmobile shelf and inventory spread sheet,  and I actually have one,  a Minilux, in red and black acquired from a estate of a good friend in 2007.   Shows a number 5CV32.

David, Winn Dixie is still alive and well in Florida. I don’t know if they still have Christmas cars, as I don’t shop there. Smile

@paul-rouffa  A little far for me to travel for milk and bread, but you might check on them around Christmas.  Enjoy!  And thanks, Paul.     David H Happy
